A.J. KEITH
After nearly 40 years working in left-brain corporate positions, A.J. retired and took up painting as a hobby five years ago. “I had dreamed of being an artist from childhood when I used to copy the cartoons in the newspaper.”
So when she finally had the time, she rushed into her first love. She quickly became immersed in painting and has created weavings, mixed media collage and acrylic paintings in many styles. Her current focus is painting with palette knife in oil.
A.J. studies regularly at the Denver Art Students League. She currently paints mostly from photographs taken by her and her husband. Her work has appeared in shows around the Denver metro area.
